Sometimes schools have introduced sensory spaces, tried different approaches and worked incredibly hard to support their students, but things still aren't working as well as everyone would like.
I offer classroom consultations where we can look at the environment, routines and participation together, and explore practical changes that might better support the children and staff.

Please note: This is a whole-classroom consultation rather than an individual OT assessment. Child-specific observations will be agreed in advance and require appropriate consent.

ABOUT MY WORK
My Experience Working in Schools
I really believe that the most meaningful support happens when we work together.
As part of the In-School Therapy Pilot Programme, I worked directly within an autism school, alongside teachers and SNAs, supporting a neuroaffirming, child-led and regulation-first approach.
I used the NCSE RELATE framework to explore how we could put these approaches into practice within everyday classroom routines, environments and interactions.
That experience reinforced how important teamwork is. Teachers, SNAs and therapists all bring different perspectives, and I believe the best support comes from sharing that knowledge and finding realistic approaches together.
